Hi,

I have a Windows Server 2008 Enterprise installation on an unmanaged network. When I start this server and try to connect to it (RDP or network share) I am unable to do so, since the Network Discovery and File Sharing is switched off. I need a way in which I could set Network Discovery and File Sharing to get switched on as soon as the server is started up, instead of me always logging into it start Network Discovery.

I even tried setting the SSDP and uPNP services to start automatically, but even though they do startup, Network Discovery and File Sharing is not started up automatically. Can someone shine some light on the matter, on how I could get this to work.

Thanks.
