if your getting a relay prohibited error while your sending mails, you need to looka at your SMTP server permissions not POP.

Hi,

Check your configuration in Microsoft Exchange àServer Configuration à Hub Transport click on the server and then properties of Receive Connectors; you must be using the Default Receive connector.

Make sure your Client IP range is added in Network section and Authentication and permission group selected according to the user whom you are trying with.
