Exchange 2010 can't i change the db and the log path during the setup.if not how can i change that path later.
Exchange 2003 we can mention the db and log path on the setup itself. Don’t you think that in exchange 2007/2010 disadvantage?
yes in Exchnage 2003 you can mention the DB and Log path at the installation, in Exchange 2007 you can move the default DB which was created at the installation using move Storage group path commans, so it's basicaly the same.
In Exchnage 2010, at the setup it dose not creat the Default DB, you can creat it after teh installation and you can mention the path at that stage.
though its giving 3 diferent ways, technicaly its the same....
Note: In exchange 2010 you will not find Storage Groups becosue that is a feuter MS have taken off from Exchange 2010
